Haworthia

LIGHT:  Medium Light. 

WATERING:  Keep well-watered during the growth period but allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering.  In Winter water less frequently but do not let the soil dry out completely. 

NUTRIENT:  Apply complete plant food at the start of the growing season.  Do not feed in the Winter. 

TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY:  Normal room temperature, cooler in Winter, about 10-12 degrees. 

SIZE:  These plants grow about 30 cm in height and width. 

PROBLEMS:  These plants are susceptible to mealy bugs.  Overwatering can cause rotting. 

SPECIAL CARE:  Avoid direct sunlight, this will burn the plant.  Re-pot in Spring if the roots become pot bound into a wide rather than deep pot as these plants are shallow-rooted.
